EMIS Web: EMIS’s browser based integrated primary and community clinical system – giving everyone in the primary care team instant online access to patients’ records.
Envisage: The latest generation of patient call systems, developed by NUMED and Egton, a division of EMIS. Envisage is delivered by a state-of-the-art LCD screen that displays health awareness messages and practice announcements as well as calling patients to their appointments.
Qute: Also developed by EMIS, Qute brings together primary care and secondary care data in one system. This reconciliation tool is of enormous benefit to surgeries attempting to get to grips with Practice Based Commissioning.
GP Access: Online access to patient records for doctors on the move via their BlackBerry device provided by Pearl Medical and developed in partnership with EMIS, Orange and BlackBerry.
Hardware: The latest in print, multi-function and labelling technology for the surgery and the home from Brother, and laptop technologies from Toshiba.
Interoperable technology: Technologies and standards for innovation and interoperability across healthcare from Intel, and the technology platform for EMIS Web from Microsoft.
EMIS Access: A revolutionary system that allows patients to book, amend or cancel appointments via the internet.
PatientTxt: Developed by Healthcare Communications, PatientTxt uses SMS text messaging technology to send test or lab results, organise clinics, reduce DNA rates and target additional nGMS contract points.
ScriptSwitch: Seamlessly integrated into the EMIS clinical system, ScriptSwitch offers cost-saving prescribing recommendations as non-invasive messages on screen.
PAERS: Groundbreaking technology that allows patients to view their medical record via a HIP (Health Information Portal) kiosk in the surgery before they see the doctor.
ePMS: An electronic prescription management service from Pharmacy2U.
